Ty Mawr is ideally located in the quiet village of Rhyd Ddu just 6 km from Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. The cottage is 200 years old and has been maintained to the best standards, keeping many of the original features.
We offer quality, affordable holiday accommodation for all guests, from those enjoying a short break to extended vacations. Unfortunately we don’t have rooms suitable for children under the age of 8. At Ty Mawr we have three beautifully decorated double rooms, the largest of which has en suite facilities and a fold away bed for a third guest.
All rooms are central heated and contain essential modern fixtures such as a TV, hairdryer and beverage making facilities. Internet access is available throughout the B&B. We offer culinary options for all guests including breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals. Our Tea Room also offers various beverages and food, from homemade soup to Dutch pancakes.
